The project is being backed by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, known for producing some of Malayalam cinema's biggest blockbusters.

Mohanlal's Daughter To Make Acting Debut

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, proud father Mohanlal announced the news and shared an emotional message for his daughter.

He wrote: "Dear Mayakutty, may your Thudakkam be just the first step in a lifelong love affair with cinema. #Thudakkam. Written and Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and Produced by Antony Perumbavoor, Aashirvad Cinemas #VismayaMohanlal @antonyperumbavoor @aashirvadcine #JudeAnthanyJoseph."

Producer Antony Perumbavoor, a close confidant of Mohanlal and head of Aashirvad Cinemas, shared a nostalgic photograph of himself carrying Vismaya as a child, along with a heartfelt message in Malayalam.

Drawing inspiration from the film’s title Thudakkam (meaning "Beginning"), he expressed his best wishes, saying: "All the best, Maya Kutty!"
