Adding to the buzz, Jr. NTR has now joined the project and recorded a voiceover for the Telugu version of the teaser. Expressing his gratitude, Vijay shared a heartfelt message on X, thanking Jr. NTR for his contribution and time.

Ranbir Kapoor records Hindi version of VD 12
Earlier, there were rumors that Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor had recorded a voiceover for the Hindi version of the VD12 teaser. According to reports, Ranbir recorded his lines for the teaser in Mumbai just a day before the announcement.
About VD 12
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, VD12 features music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas, and will also star Rukmini Vasanth, Sriram Reddy Polasane, Bhagyashri Borse, Keshav Deepak, Koushik Mahata, and Manikanta Varanasi in important roles.
The teaser is set to be released on February 12, 2025.
‘VD 12’ will come after a series of flops for Deverakonda. His previous films 'The Family Star' and 'Kushi' both of which were underperformers at the box office. Both films came after the big flop 'Liger' which was projected as the big pan-India film.
In other news, Vijay recently visited the Maha Kumbh with his mother, and images of the actor taking a holy dip went viral on social media.
Meanwhile, Jr. NTR is set to play the antagonist in War 2, starring opposite Hrithik Roshan, with Kiara Advani in the lead role.
