Allu Aravind’s Dig At Dil Raju After Game Changer Failure Go Viral: 'One Movie Was Like This, Another Like That'

Veteran producer Allu Aravind is gearing up for the release of his next production, Thandel, a romantic drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti and starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi.

Veteran producer Allu Aravind is gearing up for the release of his next production, Thandel, a romantic drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti and starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. However, at a recent pre-release event, his remarks about producer Dil Raju’s recent projects sparked an online debate.

His comments were perceived as a dig at the failure of S Shankar’s action entertainer Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, which was backed by Dil Raju.

What Allu Aravind Said

A video circulating on X captures Allu Aravind speaking in Telugu at the event. He remarked, “Dil Raju made history recently. One movie of his was like this (gestures down, hinting at Game Changer), while another movie was like this (gestures up, hinting at Sankranthi Vastunam). He got raided by the Income Tax (department). A lot happened in a week,” he said with a smile.

Mixed Reactions from the Internet

Aravind’s comments didn’t sit well with many netizens, who criticized him for seemingly enjoying another producer’s setback. An X user dug up an old clip of Allu Arjun admitting in Telugu, “I was once rejoicing when a film failed.” The resurfaced clip led to comments like, “Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”

Another user remarked, “They are trolling Dil Raju now? Hahaha.” A third comment directly addressed Ram Charan, stating, “@AlwaysRamCharan do you understand how they are enjoying your movie failures?”

Support for Allu Aravind

However, some users defended Aravind, pointing out a lack of support for the Allu family from the Mega camp. One user argued, “Not a single appreciation tweet by any megas for Pushpa 2 success, but Allu Arjun and his father should always support megas? What stupid logic?”

The debate follows the massive success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, which became the biggest Indian hit domestically after its release last year. In contrast, Game Changer, which premiered over a month later, struggled at the box office.

Meanwhile, Thandel is set to hit cinemas on February 3. Allu Arjun was initially scheduled to attend the film’s pre-release event as a special guest but was unable to make it. Aravind later clarified that the actor is suffering from extreme gastritis after returning from an overseas shoot.
