Sonali Phogat Death: Rubina Dilaik, Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin And Other Bigg Boss Contestants Pay Condolences

As the news of Bigg Boss 14 contestant, actor, and BJP leader Sonali Phogat's death hit headlines, her co-contestants from Bigg Boss 14 remembered her and expressed their condolences. 

Sonali Phogat died in Goa reportedly after suffering a heart attack Monday night.

New Delhi: Bigg Boss 14 contestant, actor, and BJP leader Sonali Phogat died in Goa reportedly after suffering a heart attack Monday night. The 41-year-old complained of uneasiness after which she was taken to hospital, The Tribune reported. Sonali had gone to Goa along with some of her staff members for a two-day shoot. 

Jivba Dalvi, Deputy SP, Bambolim told ANI that the BJP leader was brought dead to the hospital and an inquiry is in progress. 

As the news of her death hit headlines, her co-contestants from Bigg Boss 14 remembered her and expressed their condolences. 

Jasmin Bhasin, who was also a contestant on Bigg Boss 14, was in a state of shock when she spoke to ETimes. "This is very sad. She was a very strong, sweet, and cheerful person. She used to always shower her blessings on me. This was not the time for her to leave. It was way too early for her to just depart like this,” Jasmin was quoted as saying by ETimes. 

Jasmin also spoke about Sonali’s daughter. "She was a single parent and her daughter Yashodhara is so young. How will she manage? I am not in a position to say much because it is very difficult to accept that she is not with us anymore. I used to regularly be in touch with her. I will need some time to come to terms with what has happened," Jasmin told ETimes. 

Her co-contestants like Rubina Dilaik, Aly Gony, Abhinav Shukla, Eijaz Khan took to Twitter to pay their tribute to the late actor. 

Rubina Dilaik, who was the winner of Bigg Boss 14, wrote, “Deeply saddened with the news! May your soul rest in peace Sonali Phogat !” 

Rubina’s husband and actor Abhinav Shukla too paid his condolences. He tweeted: “Saddened & disheartened at very untimely demise of Sonali ji. Heartfelt sympathies & prayers for her daughter! Life is unpredictable. Reminds me again of the quote ‘Live life like its your last’ because one day you going to be right! Om Shanti!” 

Actor Eijaz Khan wrote, “Khuda unhe jannat naseeb farmaaye. Aur unke apno ki taakat de.” 

Aly Gony, who had a good bond with Sonali on the show, tweeted a broken heart emoji. 

Singer Rahul Vaidya also took to Twitter and wrote: "Sonali ji… galat baat! Itne jaldi kaun jaata hai … Abhi to maine Haryana aana tha aapke ghar … RIP shocked.” 

Sonali Phogat has acted in various TV serials and worked in Haryanvi movies as well besides featuring in the celebrity reality show Bigg Boss 14.
