New Delhi: Rita Shukla, Sidharth Shukla's mother, who is affectionately referred to as Rita Maa, by his admirers, recently made an unusual appearance on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. On February 18, she participated in a live discussion held on the Brahma Kumaris' social media page while attending an event the group had organised. Interestingly, Shehnaaz Gill was also present at the event and they both attended the opening ceremony of the Maha Shivratri Mela.

At the event, Rita was seen joining the team for a live interaction where she expressed her gratitude towards the actor’s fans. She said, "All I want to say is that I love you all and I receive all your messages. It makes me happy to know that so many of you love me and the only reason behind all this love is Sidharth Shukla".

Shehnaaz Gill was also seen at the inauguration ceremony of the event. She was dressed in a yellow salwar suit and was seen lighting the lamp at the event. A series of photos were also shared on Instagram by Brahma Kumaris Lokhandwala. Television actor Sidharth Shukla died due to a massive cardiac arrest on September 2, 2021.
