New Delhi: December 12 marks the birth anniversary of late actor Sidharth Shukla. The popular television actor who won hearts with his performance in a number of television serials, breathed his last on September 2, 2021, after suffering a massive cardiac arrest. The talented actor was only 40 years old.

Sidharth Shukla began his career as a model. He initially starred in a music video 'Resham ka Rumal' by Ila Arun and a bunch of television commercials. After securing his place as a runner-up in a pageant, he made his acting debut with television serial 'Babul ka Aangan Chhotey Na' in 2008. He then went on to star in shows 'Jaane Pehchane Se....Ye Ajnabi' and 'Love You Zindagi'.

His role as District Collector Shivraj Shekhar opposite late Pratyusha Bannerjee in the serial 'Balika Vadhu', made him a household name, propelling him to success. Sidharth's popularity and acting prowess bagged him a role in Karan Johar's film 'Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania' starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. He then tried his hands at reality shows like 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6' and'India's Got Talent 6'. He also participated in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 7' where he ended up being the winner. 

Sidharth Shukla gained ultimate stardom with his participation in television reality show 'Bigg Boss 13'. The actor's swagger personality and no-nonsense attitude made him the nation's heartthrob. His closeness with fellow contestant Shehnaaz Gill also came into limelight.

Ever since their stint on the sets of Bigg Boss 13, Sidharth and Shehnaaz, the new love-birds in the town, became inseperable. Their sizzling chemistry and undying adoration for each other raged fire, even on the show. The duo, who bagged the title of SidNaaz by their fans, also co-starred in a couple of music videos, much to their fans' rejoicement. The couple's first song together was 'Bhula Dunga' sung by Darshan Raval, that came in 2020.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz's song 'Habit' remained unfinished due to the actor's sad untimely demise in September. The song was then released in October, incorporating the behind the scenes clips with Shehnaaz Gill singing the song while remembering the actor. Watch it here:

Shehnaaz Gill, who was devastated with the actor's death, featured in the song 'Tu Yaheen Hai', which is a tribute to her loved moments with the talented actor.
