New Delhi: Shehnaaz Gill is one of the most talked about actresses in the industry. The actress rose to fame after competing in Salman Khan hosted celebrity reality show 'Bigg Boss 13', where she became popular for her chemistry with late actor Sidharth Shukla. With her upbeat personality and sweet demeanour, Shehnaaz has attracted many admirers. Recently, Shehnaaz made her major debut at the Filmfare awards, which were held recently in Dubai.

Shehnaaz was spotted at the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night 2022 wearing a stunning off-the-shoulder gown with retro curls. She won the rising star award at the prestigious event. She honoured the late actor, Siddharth Shukla as she got her award.

Shehnaaz started off jokingly by saying that this award is not for anyone but her. "Main apni family, apne friends aur meri team ko bilkul bhi nahi dedicate karungi. Kyunki yeh meri mehnat hai."

Looking at the award, she continued, "Tu mera hai aur tu mera hi rahega." This is what she had told to Sidharth Shukla in the Bigg Boss house. Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill became one of the most popular and talked about celeb couples of the entertainment industry for their chemistry.

Shehnaaz then dedicated the award to him and concluded, "Main ek bande ko thank you bolna chahti hun. Thank you meri life mein aane ke liye. And itna mere pe invest kiya ki main aaj yahan pe pahunchi hun. Sidharth Shukla, this is for you."

The two came close  during their Bigg Boss 13 stint and are sometimes referred to by fans as 'SidNaaz',  but they never acknowledged being a couple. Sidharth eventually won the reality competition in 2020. Sidharth went away abruptly following a heart attack on September 2, 2021. He was 40. In the wake of Sidharth's untimely passing, Shehnaaz produced and published the heartbreaking 'Tu Yaheen hai' music video tribute. She also showed up on the Bigg Boss 15 sets, where she paid a special tribute to the beloved memories of her close buddy.

Shehnaaz Gill co-starred with Diljeet Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa in the Punjabi movie 'Honsla Rakh' after Bigg Boss 13 aired. With 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', starring Salman Khan, she is prepared to make her Bollywood debut. Farhad Samji has directed and Sajid Nadiadwala wrote the screenplay for the movie, respectively.
