New Delhi: Smriti Irani's daughter Shanelle recently tied the knot with Arjun Bhalla in Rajasthan. On Friday, Smriti Irani organised a celebration in Mumbai for her film and television business pals to celebrate the wedding of her daughter, Shanelle, to Canadian lawyer Arjun Bhalla. It was a star-studded night, with guests like Shah Rukh Khan, Ekta Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Ronit Bose Roy and many more. The mother of the bride was seen welcoming the visitors in a red Banarasi saree.

Mouni Roy posted photos from Shanelle and Arjun's star-studded wedding reception on her Instagram account. Mouni sparkled and shimmered in her green saree. The new bride Shanelle looked lovely in a blue saree.  In one of the photos, Shah Rukh Khan appeared with Smriti Irani, Mouni, and her husband Suraj Nambiar. 

Mouni captioned the images, "Congratulations Shanelle & Arjun.. wishing you both the happiest most meaningful journey ahead Love you di @smritiiraniofficial."

Along with her father, actor Jeetendra, Ekta Kapoor also attended the celebration. She posted a photo of themselves on Instagram with the caption, "When your fav bahu is now a sassy saas! Congrats Shanelle Irani and Arjun on your wedding (no pic )! And proud parents Smriti Irani and Zubin Irani (don't miss my handsome nephew Zohr Irani in this pic)."

The friendship between Smriti Irani and Ekta Kapoor dates back many years. ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, an Ekta Kapoor show, was Smriti's first major break as an actress.

Actor Ronit Roy, who portrayed Mihir on ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, and his wife Neelam, as well as Ravi Kishan, attended the party. Ronit posted a photo of themselves, writing, "Years of friendship @smritiiraniofficial @ravikishann and the warmth and love keeps growing. Grateful Congratulations @shanelleirani and Arjun. For the unversed, Shanelle is the daughter of Smriti's husband Zubin Irani from his first marriage. Zohr (a boy) and Zoish (a girl) are Smriti and Zubin's kids.
