Riteish Has Been His Wife’s Biggest Cheerleader

Riteish has been actively cheering for Genelia on social media. At the film’s special screening, he made headlines when he stepped aside to let her pose solo with Aamir Khan, ensuring she fully enjoyed her moment in the spotlight.

Just a few days earlier, the Housefull 5 star penned a glowing appreciation post for his wife on Instagram. He urged his followers to catch the film, writing:

“Please do yourself a favour — go watch the best film of the year! #SitaareZameenPar is not just a movie, it’s an experience. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry — and by the time it ends, it leaves you a better human being. The true ‘sitaares’ of this film are the children — absolutely phenomenal performances that steal your heart and never let go.”

High Praise for Aamir Khan and Genelia

Riteish didn’t hold back on praising Aamir Khan either, calling him one of India’s finest actors:

“Aamir Khan once again proves why he’s one of the finest actors this country has ever seen. His performance is deeply layered, incredibly nuanced, and profoundly moving.”

Expressing his admiration for Genelia’s craft beyond just being her husband, he added, “@geneliad is pure magic on screen. She lights up every frame with her presence — her eyes say everything, and I say this not just as a husband, but as a genuine fan of her craft.”

A Milestone Film for Genelia

Sitaare Zameen Par, featuring Genelia opposite Aamir Khan, marks another significant step in her evolving journey as an actress. The sports drama has been widely praised for its emotional depth and compelling narrative. It was released in theatres on June 20, 2025.
