NCB Arrests Rhea Chakraborty Under Various Sections Of NDPS, Remand Unlikely
Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty today under various sections of NDPS. She will undergo Covid-19 test in Sion hospital, will then be lodged at women’s lockup in NCB office.
Rhea Chakraborty Arrested: Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty today under various sections of NDPS as sufficient evidences have been found against her. KP Malhotra, senior officer at Narcotics Control Bureau has said an official information will be released by 4 pm in this regard.She is likely to be taken to Sion hospital for medical check up and will then be brought back to the NCB office. She will be presented in front of the court via video conferencing after the arrest, sources have said.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been probing the ‘drug angle’ in the case and has arrested Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, Dipesh Sawant and a number of drug peddlers till now. The agency is also interrogating the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and after 2 days of questioning, the actress has been called in for the third time.
Rhea Chakraborty had lodged an FIR against Sushant’s sisters Priyanka Singh and Meetu Singh, and a doctor from Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in Delhi in Mumbai’s Bandra Police station On Tuesday (September 7) under several sections pertaining to forgery, abetment to suicide and cheating.
Sushant's family lawyer Vikas Singh strongly reacted to the FIR against Sushant’s two sisters and called it a clear violation of the Supreme Court order.
