“I humbly offer my sincerest apologies to those whom I may have unknowingly hurt. My fans remain my bedrock, and I shall always hold them in the highest esteem and with boundless affection,” the rapper added.

In case you don’t know, the head priest of the Mahakaleshwar Temple in the Ujjain region of Madhya Pradesh criticised Badshah for mixing obscene words with the name of Lord Shiva (Bholenath) in the song. Mahesh, a religious leader, requested that he should apologise and take God's name out of the song. His next move, he claimed, would be to demand an FIR against the rapper.
