New Delhi: Randeep Hooda has always gone the extra mile in terms of body transformation for his films. Who can forget his drastic transformation for the film ‘Sarbjit'? The actor will next be seen in ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’ and for the film, Randeep has lost 18 kilos. He also shared picture of his latest look on Instagram and his physical change is quite visible in the picture.

Randeep posted a mirror selfie of him inside an elevator. He wrote, “We all need a lift at times." He added the hashtag ‘prep’ to his caption.

In an interview with The Times of India, the actor opened up about the weight loss and revealed that he has already lost 18 kilos and is planning on losing more weight. The actor said that he believes that ‘your body is the only instrument you own.

“Yes, I am able to do these fluctuations with my body because I am inherently a sportsperson. I feel your body should be in an active space because that is what you are. Your body is the only instrument you own,” he was quoted as saying by The Times of India.

Randeep will be essaying the role of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in the movie. The movie will be directed by filmmaker Mahesh V Manjrekar and produced by Anand Pandit and Sandeep Singh.

While talking about the film Randeep had earlier said that portraying Savarkar will be "yet another challenging role" for him as an actor.

"There are many heroes that have played their part in getting us our independence. However, not everyone has got their due. Vinayak Damodar Savarkar is the most misunderstood, debated, and influential of these unsung heroes, and his story must be told. I am delighted to collaborate with Sandeep after Sarabjit', for 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar'," he said.

The film will be shot across various locations in London, Maharashtra, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
