New Delhi: Raju Srivastava is currently undergoing  treatment following a heart attack on August 10, 2022 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The comedian had an angioplasty the same day and has been on a ventilator since. However, given a week since he was admitted, fans and many users on the internet have been talking about Raju's 'alleged deteriorating health condition'. While Raju's wife Shika had earlier requested all to stop spreading negative rumours about her husband's health, now Raju's brother Deep Srivastava has asked all to refrain from engaging in such activity.

Taking to his official Facebook account, Deep shared a health update about his brother's health through a 3 minute 4 seconds video and asked people to refrain spreading rumours about his 'brother's death'. He called people 'shameless' for spreading such misleading information about Raju Srivastava's health. Deep also stated that most of the information which was circulating online and on social media platforms had no backing. These people, according to Deep had not spoken to Raju's family, and were spreading misinformation by themselves with no truth or fact to support.

Deep Srivastava also shared that the best doctors of the country and from the AIIMS hospital are trying to help Raju recover with their treatment so that Raju Srivastava can once again become his old self again . 

Deep also asked Raju's fans to not be bothered by such rumours and misleading information about Raju's death. He also added that Raju has been responding to the treatment he has been receiving and he hopes that Raju gets better and recovers from this.

Srivastava had suffered a heart attack while exercising.  "He was doing his routine exercise and while he was on the treadmill, he suddenly fell down. He suffered a heart attack and was immediately taken to the AIIMS hospital," Raju Srivastava’s cousin had told PTI.
