Raj Kundra's Police Custody Extended Till July 27 In Alleged Pornography Case

According to the latest report, Raj Kundra and one Ryan Thorpe has bene sent to police custody till July 27.

Mumbai: Businessman Raj Kundra has been sent to police custody till July 27 in the alleged pornography case. Shilpa Shetty’s husband was arrested on July 19 by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police.

According to the latest report, Raj Kundra and one Ryan Thorpe has been sent to police custody till July 27. A report in ANI reads, “Maharashtra: Businessman Raj Kundra & one Ryan Thorpe have been sent to police custody till 27th July”.

The report further adds, “Police suspect that money earned from pornography was used for online betting. This is why transactions between Raj Kundra's Yes bank account and United Bank of Africa account need to be investigated, Mumbai Police tells Court”.

“Maharashtra: Police produced Shilpa Shetty's husband & businessman Raj Kundra and Ryan Thorpe before Magistrate Court and sought 7 days further police custody, in connection with a case relating to the production of pornographic films”, read the report.

Meanwhile, after her husband’s arrest, Shilpa Shetty maintained silence over the matter and also cancelled her shoots. However, the ‘Hungama 2’ actress shared a post on her Instagram story on Thursday (July 22) night, two days after her husband’s arrest. Shilpa posted a quote from James Thurber’s book. A portion of that quote read, “Do not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, but around in awareness”.
