Raj Kundra Pornography Case: Shilpa Shetty Will Not Be Served Summons, Confirms Mumbai Police
Raj Kundra Case: Shilpa Shetty, who has maintained a silence over the matter, shared her first social media post on Instagram on Thursday (July 22) night.
Shilpa Shetty can breathe a sigh of relief as she will not be served summon in the on-going Raj Kundra case. Ever since Shilpa’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on late Monday night, there have been speculations that Shilpa will also get summons but now a source close to Mumbai police has revealed to ETimes that Shilpa will not be served a summon in the Raj Kundra case.
Speaking to the same website on condition of anonymity the source revealed, "Shilpa Shetty is one of the directors of Viaan Industries while the police investigation is probing into Kenrin only." Kenrin is a UK-based company and owner of the HotShots app, where the alleged porn content was distributed. Kenrin is owned by Kundra's brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi, who is a British citizen and is married to Kundra’s sister. He is the Chairman of Kenrin, the company directly being held responsible in the pornography-related case.
Earlier Kundra & his partner Ryan Tharpe were produced in the Esplanade Court in Mumbai on Tuesday, they are currently in police custody till today, July 23. After Raj Kundra was sent to police custody in the pornography case, several models and actors have come ahead to reveal their personal experiences with Kundra's pornography web business.
Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty, who has maintained a silence over the matter, shared her first social media post on Instagram on Thursday (July 22) night. The ‘Dhadkan’ actress posted a quote from James Thurber’s book, which she seems to be reading on her Insta story.
“Do not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, but around in awareness,” a portion of the quote read.
