This was Priyanka’s first trip to India after the birth of her daughter Malti. Nick Jonas recently shared his experience of travelling with his daughter.

“I mean, travel is definitely different now… I think part of that is, you know, just the amount of stuff you need. It's pretty funny. But, also, the wonder of looking for places you've been to a million times but seeing it through different eyes, right? It's really special. It has been a pretty amazing experience for us,” Nick told Travel + Leisure.

On her India visit, Priyanka also went for a field visit to see the work done by UNICEF and its partners to end violence and discrimination against girls in the state.

"No matter how many schemes you implement, they have done (their job). But real change can come only by changing the mindset of society towards females," she told PTI.

"Our country India has a huge population and the mindset is very old. Until this mindset that girls do not need anything, girls do not have any rights and girls are our property changes, how will a transformation come on a large scale," she was quoted as saying by PTI.

The UNICEF goodwill ambassador lauded the Uttar Pradesh government's women helpline number '1090', saying it "can digitally track the victim and provide her help in times of distress".

On the work front, Priyanka will be next seen in the 'Love Again’ with Sam Heughan. She will be also feature in Farhan Akhtar’s film, ‘Jee Le Zara’ along with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
