New Delhi: Actor Pratik Gandhi, who is best known for the web-series 'Scam 1992', had a 'humiliating' experience on Sunday, courtesy the Mumbai traffic due to VIP movement. The actor was travelling in the city suburbs, to reach his shoot location. However, the city's crucial Western Express Highway (WEH) was blocked, owing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit in the city. The PM had flown to Mumbai on Sunday to receive the first Lata Deenanath Mageshkar Award, given by the legendary singer's family.
Taking to his Twitter handle on Saturday evening, Pratik shared that given the traffic congestion on the highway and the vehicles moving at a snail-pace, he eventually began walking. He also stated in his tweet that he felt "humiliated" after he was almost oushed into a warehouse by a policeman, for no valid reason.
His tweet read as, "Mumbai WEH is jammed coz of “VIP” movement, I started walking on the roads to reach the shoot location and Police caught me by shoulder and almost pushed me in some random marble warehouse to wait till without any discussion. #humiliated"
