New Delhi: Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Sunny Singh and Jassie Gill starrer 'Wild Wild Punjab' is Luv Ranjan's next upcoming project. Netflix India announced the film as part of its upcoming slate of projects. From a director who has made 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' to his last release 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar', 'Wild Wild Punjab' is not the most expected film. However, the teaser of the film promises something interesting.

Netflix India shared the first look teaser of 'Wild Wild Punjab' on Instagram and wrote, "What do you get when you mix a group of friends, a breakup, and a road trip? One hell of an ADVENTURE! 😎🔥 Wild Wild Punjab is coming soon, only on Netflix!"

The official synopsis of ‘Wild Wild Punjab’ reads, “ A group of drunk boys decide to avenge a friend’s breakup by crashing his ex's wedding and achieve closure. What ensues is a bold and impromptu plan for a “breakup trip" leading to unforeseen adventures in this maze of a land called — Wild Wild Punjab!”
Producers Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg shared in a statement, “We at Luv Films endeavor to always bring laughter, joy and entertainment to audiences. With Wild Wild Punjab, we are cranking up the fun-o-meter and wildness a level higher! This film is a celebration of friendship, brotherhood and all things Punjab! We can't wait for you to join us on this wild ride only on Netflix.”
Perhaps a pun on the western Hollywood genre that have produced films like the 'Wild WIld West', the desi 'Wild Wild Punjab' teaser shows a tale rooted in a desi story with guns, heart break, love and marriages on the cards as the teaser proved.
'Wild Wild Punjab' is among several other films and series that Nefflix India is announcing as part of the new projects lineup.
