The drama between actor Sudhanshu Pandey and influencer Apoorva Mukhija, who shared screen space in the reality show 'The Traitors', refuses to settle. While the two were seen clashing on the show, the tension seems to have carried over into real life—with Sudhanshu now issuing a sharp statement aimed at Mukhija after she spoke about Pandey in post-show interviews.

Without naming her directly, the Anupamaa actor referred to Mukhija as “the content creator” and criticised her for turning their disagreement into a social media opportunity.

What Sudhanshu Pandey said about Apoorva Mukhija

“Some people thrive on drama and live in their own little delulu worlds. I spoke about her once, and now she’s out there milking that moment for content. I have graced front pages and magazine covers long before thumbnails even existed, so it’s honestly amusing to watch people, whose entire relevance is built around clickbait, try and stir something out of nothing,” he said in a statement.

Pandey, who was also part of the early 2000s boy band 'A Band of Boys', said Mukhija had privately apologised to him after the show ended, but presented a completely different personality in her interviews.

“What shocks me more is how hard she's flipped! The tone in which she had sent me a message post the show, apologising for her conduct, was so nice, and I even forgave her with a lot of love and thought it was all done and dusted! But cut to a camera and suddenly there’s arrogance, attitude, and a whole new personality of her back to square one. I don’t understand how people manage to juggle multiple masks so easily. I have never been that person. I say what I feel, I speak my truth, but I never go low, never hit below the belt,” he said.

He added, “Unlike others, I don’t need controversy to validate my presence. My career has outlived many people’s entire existence in this space, and I say that without ego, just facts. If riding my name gives them some headline joy, they are welcome. Think of it as a gift from me!”

What Apoorva Mukhija said about Sudhanshu

Apoorva, also known as The Rebel Kid, recently criticised Sudhanshu's repeated mentions of her and calling out what she perceives as misogyny.

“Sudhanshu ji has given 8 interviews till now. 80% of that he talks about me. He didn’t talk about me in the whole show. He has also gone on and said there is a difference between men and women. Women are not the same. So why are they abusing? So it does boil down to misogyny somehow. He has also abused a lot in the end episodes," she told Moneycontrol.

“But I get it. If I hadn’t done anything in a game and I would have been such a senior actor and I would have been so disappointed to see myself on screen—that I would have done anything in my power. And the truth is, if he doesn’t talk about me, whose photo will he put in the thumbnail? Whose name will he write in his titles? And about whom will the headline be published?”

“And I have constantly apologised to him on WhatsApp. That I am so sorry you felt this way and everything. And he is like—‘I would love to see you do this to your child. Because my mom is really angry.’ So if you treat your children that way, all the best girly pops.”

“But yeah. I think for the entirety of his life, he will continue to do this. And I don’t appreciate people who do moral policing when I have constantly apologised to both you and Ashish ji. And he knows it.”
