Shah Rukh Khan To Make A Special Cameo In Suhana Khan's Debut Film The Archies: Report
'The Archies', which is based on The Archies comics, marks the acting debuts of Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor.
New Delhi: Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, is making her debut with the film 'The Archies'. According to reports, SRK made a special gesture to show his support for her.
According to a source who spoke with Hindustan Times, Shah Rukh would have a cameo role in the upcoming movie.
“He is connected to the project, and it is a special one for him as it marks Suhana’s entry in the industry. He wanted to be part of the project in some way, due to which he has a special connection to it. He has either a cameo appearance or he is onboard as a narrator in the web film,” the source said.
“The whole team is hush hush about his involvement, as they want to keep it a surprise. That being said, it will definitely be a special one for him and his fans,” the source added.
Shah Rukh also shared the trailer for the upcoming movie on Instagram on Thursday.
"A contemporary subject with timeless characters #TheArchies… thrown into a world that is very fable-like. Zoya has created such an innocent and pristine quality to the film….maybe just like our world could be with a more responsible outlook towards the environment," he wrote in the caption.
The film, which is based on The Archies comics, marks the acting debuts of veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, and late actor Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor. Dot, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, and Yuvraj Menda portray major roles in the Zoya Akhtar-directed film. Netflix will stream the movie on December 7.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan appeared in two blockbuster films, 'Jawan' and 'Pathaan', this year. The actor's next film appearance will be in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'.
