MI's Captains Over The Years: Special Feat That Belongs Only To Rohit
A total of nine players have captained Mumbai Indians in T20 cricket.
Mumbai Indians (MI) will be without their regular captain, Hardik Pandya, in their opening match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) due to a one-match suspension for slow over-rate from last season.
Since the ban was imposed after MI had completed their IPL 2024 campaign, it now carries over to the new season (IPL 2025). In Hardik's absence, Suryakumar Yadav will lead the team for the first match.
