Payal Malik on Past Tension With Kritika: ‘There Was A Time When We Both Didn’t Want To See Each Other’s Face’

Bigg Boss OTT 3: Payal Malik has been eliminated from the house. After her eviction, Payal spoke about her relationship with Armaan and Kritika.

Bigg Boss OTT 3: Payal Malik, who was a contestant of 'Bigg Boss OTT 3' along with her husband Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik, has been eliminated from the house. After her eviction, Payal spoke about her relationship with Armaan and Kritika and about their behaviour in the house.

Payal Malik on viral swimming pool clip

In a conversation with Telly Chakkar, Payal was asked about a particular clip that is going viral in which both Payal and Kritika are seen entering in the pool and Armaan helps the latter to enter the pool. Payal replied in Hindi, “Kritika is very afraid of water, but I am not. Kritika was entering from the wrong place, so Armaan ji helped her get into the pool. Since I am not afraid, I got in myself."

On Armaan choosing Kritika over Payal as the winner

During the grand premiere, host Anil Kapoor asked Armaan whom he wanted to win between his two wives, and Armaan chose Kritika. Payal addressed this, saying, “Kritika should win because Armaan ji and I are very strong, but Kritika is very soft and plays with her heart. We both want Kritika to show herself and play because she is very innocent."

Past tension between Kritika and Payal

Payal also touched upon the past tension between her and Kritika and recalled the time when they didn’t see eye to eye. “There was such a big difference between us that neither she wanted to see my face nor did I. But after facing everything, the bond that has formed between us is so strong that even two real sisters wouldn't live together with as much love as we do."

On Armaan's reply to Sana Maqbool

In one episode, contestant Sana Maqbool asked Armaan what his reaction would be if Payal fell in love with another man. Armaan replied that he wouldn’t have accepted it as she did. When asked about this, Payal responded, “Any man would not accept this, everyone knows that a woman's heart is big. When we got married, I had left Armaan and stayed away from him for 1.5 years with my son. But during that time, I had to face many things financially and emotionally, without any support. Then, when I realized that Armaan is a great support and that his presence in my life is necessary, I accepted the relationship."

On Armaan being romantically inclined towards Kritika

When asked if Armaan is more romantically inclined towards Kritika, Payal said, “Not at all, I don't feel that there is any difference between Kritika and me. For him, we are both equal. I know that I am financially capable enough to earn and support myself, but I don't want to do that because I am very happy with my children and my family."

She was also asked about the viral clip in which another contestant, Pulomi, asked Kritika about the trio sharing a towel. Kritika was seen saying, "If I can share a husband, what about a towel?" Payal responded that Kritika made the comment as a joke and is being unfairly trolled for it.
