As the countdown for the third season starts, here’s what we can expect from the show:

Sachiv Abhishek Kumar’s (Jitendra Kumar) fate
Season 2 ended with ‘Sachiv ji’ getting his transfer orders. The new season will show how Abhishek Kumar manages to stay in Phulera and navigates the panchayat politics of Phulera. He now also has an arch-enemy in MLA Chandra Kishore (Pankaj Jha), who ordered his transfer. How he will tackle this new development needs to be seen.

Panchayat elections
With elections around the corner in Phulera, Pradhan Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) can have a competitor in Bhushan’s (Durgesh Kumar) wife Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar). She might contest panchayat elections and challenge her. Season 2 saw animosity between them with Bhushan looking for various ways to defame Pradhan and the panchayat office's work.

Budding romance
Season 2 saw a spark between Abhishek Kumar and Manju Devi’s daughter Rinki. In the new season, we can expect starting of romance between the two. We know that after Abhishek's failed attempt to clear CAT, Pradhan Pati (Raghubir Yadav) is now not keen on him as a suitable match for their daughter. If the romance between the two starts, the changing equation between sachiv ji and Pradhan Pati will be interesting to watch.

Return of Ganesh from Season 1
There were also speculations that Ganesh (upset groom from season 1) will be back this season and might be the new secretary in place of Abhishek Kumar as he has been transferred from Phulera. Ganesh’s dialogue “Gazab Beizzati Hai” from season one had become a viral meme. It will be intriguing to witness the unfolding of events in this situation.

New characters to be introduced
New characters will join the fray, adding fresh dynamics and keeping the narrative unpredictable. Chandan Roy, who plays Vikas in the series, had told PTI that many new characters will be added in the latest season. “The new season is going to be double the fun than the previous ones. It will be filled with crazy events. Also, the audience would get to see some new characters this time. In total, the writer of the show, Chandan sir, has done a really good job," Roy told PTI.

Though there will be many changes or twists in the show, we hope that the show’s signature style is retained. After all the show has become popular because of heartwarming humour woven into a simple narrative that reflects the laid-back charm of Phulera.
