The Kapoor family has been a prominent presence in the Hindi film industry for nearly a century. However, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Ranbir Kapoor's elder sister, has largely remained out of the spotlight until now. The jewelry and fashion designer made her reality show debut in this season, joining new cast members Shalini Passi and Kalyani Saha Chawla.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is the daughter of renowned actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, and the granddaughter of the legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor. Unlike her brother Ranbir and cousins Kareena and Karisma Kapoor, Riddhima opted not to pursue a career in films. Instead, she married Delhi-based businessman Bharat Sahni and settled in the capital. Sahni has been married to Riddhima Kapoor since 2006, following a five-year courtship. They have a daughter named Samara.

Bharat Sahni attended Modern School Vasant Vihar in Delhi. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Saint Mary's College of California and also studied Business Management and Marketing at Ohio State University.
