About Maharaj

Directed by Siddharth Malhotra and produced by YRF Entertainment, the movie also stars Jaideep Ahlawat.

As per the makers, 'Maharaj' is set in pre-independent India and is based on the Maharj Libel Case of 1862, which was propelled by 'allegations of misconduct by a prominent figure'.

Interestingly, the film is releasing on Netflix without any promotions. No teaser or trailer has been released by the makers for the film, barring a poster featuring Jaideep and Junaid.
