Oscars 2022 Live Streaming: When And Where To Watch The 94th Academy Awards In India

The 94th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 27 at Dolby Theatres in Los Angeles. It will be telecasted live in India on Monday, March 28.

New Delhi: The 94th Academy Awards are all set to take place on March 27 in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theatre. The world will once again witness the best films of the year along with famous celebrities making some memorable appearances as they walk the Red Carpet.

The nominated movies are giving tough competition to each other with Jame Campion's film 'The Power Of The Dog', leading with 12 nominations. Starring actor Benedict Cumberbatch, Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst in lead roles, the film has received nominations in all the major categories including the Best Film category.

The Indian documentary feature 'Writing With Fire', has managed to secure a nomination in the Best Documentary Feature category. Directed by Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh, the documentary chronicles the rise of Khabar Lahariya, India's only newspaper run by Dalit women. It also follows the team's shift from print to digital format.

When to watch Oscars 2022

The Academy Awards ceremony will take place live in Los Angeles on March 27, 8 pm ET and 5 pm PT. In India, the awards will be aired on March 28, 5.30 am onwards. 

Where to watch Oscars 2022

The award ceremony will be aired live on Star World and Star Movies at 6.30 am.

The Hosts

The 94th Academy Awards will be hosted by not one but three celebrities. The hosts will be comedian Amy Schumer accompanied by Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes.
