‘Prithviraj’, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, ‘Shamshera’, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, ‘83’ Release Dates Out!

New Delhi: The Maharashtra government, announced yesterday that movie halls will reopen in the state on October 22, 2021. Though the government is yet to give out the guidelines, the news of the reopening of movie theatres in the state brought a smile in the faces of movie lovers and also the producers and artists who have been eagerly waiting for the halls to release.
Soon after the news of the reopening of movie theatres in Maharashtra came out, many directors and producers announced the release date of their upcoming films. Yesterday, after Rohit Shetty announced the release date of ‘Sooryavanshi’, it is now Yash Raj Films that has announced the release dates of their upcoming movies – ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ and ‘Shamshera’.
In a tweet from their official handle, Yash Raj Films revealed that ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ (featuring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sharvari) will hit the theatres on November 19, 2021. Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Prithviraj’ will release on January 21, 2022, Ranveer Singh’s ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ will release on February 25, 2022, and Ranbir Kapoor-Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Shamshera’ will release on March 18, 2022.
Aamir Khan Productions also announced the release date of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ which will hit the screens on Valentine’s Day 2022, instead of Christmas 2021.
Ranveer Singh also announced in his latest Instagram post that his upcoming sports biopic ‘83’ will hit the theatres this Christmas in five languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
Akshay Kumar, Rohit Shetty, also informed yesterday that their film ‘Sooryavanshi’ will release this Diwali.
