In the romantic comedy ‘Bad Newz’, Triptii went on to blow up the internet with her sizzling chemistry with Vicky Kaushal. Fans react to Tripti Dimri's Mere Mehboob song

“Yikes who choreographed these ugly steps,” a comment read. Another user said, “this cannot be real. embarrassing for the whole film really. especially the choreographers and those who thought that this would be a good idea.” A Reddit user compared her to Karina Kaif in the song Mashallah and said, “Somehow she looked so sultry doing that step as compared to Tripti which could be because of Kat being an amazing dancer.”

A fan defended Triptii and said,"Honestly i dont blame her here. It just made it obvious that choreographers are shit at their jobs. In Saroj Khan era, even the worst dancers did a better job than this. After her, it’s never been the same. She would’ve tailored it for Tripti and made her deliver. Unlike whoever the fuck choreographed this."

“Producers are sexualizing her to an extent where she is looking more cheap than a Nora ( vulgar ass shaking) . Embarassing and Tripti is also agreeing to all this to keep getting work. Atleast in that Bad Newz song she looked hot,” a comment read.
