Mumbai: Who can ever forget ‘Tip Tip Barsa Pani’ from ‘Mohra’? The iconic song had created ripples in the 90s, courtesy the sizzling chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon. The makers of ‘Sooryavanshi’ have recreated the popular number for their film. Guess what? Katrina Kaif will be seen grooving to the beats of the reprised version. Yes, you read that right!

Katrina took to social media to share the teaser of ‘Tip Tip Barsa Pani’ and inform her fans that the song will release on Saturday (November 6). The B-town diva can be seen dancing with Akshay while donning a silver metallic saree. Considering Kaif and Kumar’s scorching chemistry, we wouldn’t be surprised if the song manages to garner huge views on YouTube.  

While the original song was crooned by Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan, Tanishk Bagchi has recreated the new version for ‘Sooryavanshi’. Check out the teaser! 

If early trends are to be believed, ‘Sooryavanshi’ has raked in big moolah on its first day at the box office. The action drama, which hit the silver screens on Friday (November 5), has received positive reviews from the critics and audience. 

Trade pundits are expecting the film to set the cash registers jingling in the next two weeks. Despite the clash with Marvel’s ‘Eternals’ and Rajinikanth starrer ‘Annaatthe’, ‘Sooryavanshi’ is expected to register a grand opening. 

Akshay penned a post on social media to thank the audience for showering the film with love. Khiladi Kumar wrote, "Pardon the goofy gig am overjoyed! Thank you SO much for embracing cinemas back in your lives. The super response is not just for Team #Sooryavanshi, it is a mark of faith that’ll bring joy and prosperity back in our film industry. We are nothing without you. Sheer gratitude."

‘Sooryavanshi’, which has been directed by Rohit Shetty, was originally slated to release in March 2020. However, the film got delayed twice due to the COVID-19 crisis. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh have reprised their respective roles of Bajirao Singham and Sangram Bhalerao for the much-awaited flick.
