In the latest development reported on Tuesday, the Supreme Court of India reserved its verdict in Rhea Chakraborty’s plea for transfer of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe from Bihar to Mumbai. The apex court asked all the concerned parties to submit written notes of all precedent judgments by Thursday, August 13.
After hearing arguments from Sushant's father's counsel, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer, counsel representing the Maharashtra and Bihar government, the top court asked them to submit brief written notes and reserved its judgement in the case.
Post SC hearing today, 'Dil Bechara' actor's family lawyer, Vikas Singh gave his first response saying that he is confident 'the probe will go to the CBI.'
In his statement to Republic, Singh reportedly said that today's hearing before the top court witnessed some extensive arguments.
"As far as the complainant's (KK Singh) case is concerned, the politicization of this issue was strongly and vehemently opposed, " the senior advocate said, adding that "Sushant’s father KK Singh is only seeking justice for avenging the death of his son and continued to explain further how the probe might go to the CBI."
