'Confident Probe Will Go To CBI', Says Sushant Singh Rajput’s Family Lawyer After SC Reserves Judgement On Rhea Chakraborty's Plea

Supreme Court on Tuesday reserved its verdict in Rhea Chakraborty’s plea for transfer of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe from Bihar to Mumbai.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's shocking death case seems to be coming to a conclusion 'Not Any Soon'. Though various authorities are involved in investigating the mysterious suicide case, the probe seems to be getting only complicated with each passing day as every now and then a statement gets released by either late actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, father KK Singh or some old close friend. ALSO READ | Rhea Chakraborty Tells SC, ‘I Was In Love With Him, Have Been Traumatised After His Death’ In the latest development reported on Tuesday, the Supreme Court of India reserved its verdict in Rhea Chakraborty’s plea for transfer of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe from Bihar to Mumbai. The apex court asked all the concerned parties to submit written notes of all precedent judgments by Thursday, August 13. After hearing arguments from Sushant's father's counsel, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer, counsel representing the Maharashtra and Bihar government, the top court asked them to submit brief written notes and reserved its judgement in the case. Post SC hearing today, 'Dil Bechara' actor's family lawyer, Vikas Singh gave his first response saying that he is confident 'the probe will go to the CBI.' In his statement to Republic, Singh reportedly said that today's hearing before the top court witnessed some extensive arguments. "As far as the complainant's (KK Singh) case is concerned, the politicization of this issue was strongly and vehemently opposed, " the senior advocate said, adding that "Sushant’s father KK Singh is only seeking justice for avenging the death of his son and continued to explain further how the probe might go to the CBI." The consequences of criminal breach of trust are in Patna. So, I am sure, the matter will go to CBI." Sushant Singh Rajput’s case took a new turn when his father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five others under various sections of the IPC including abetment to suicide. Rhea moved the SC and filed a petition to transfer the case from Bihar to Mumbai. The 'Pavitra Rishta' actor was found hanging from the ceiling of his apartment in Mumbai on June 14.
