Karan Johar's upcoming production 'Student Of The Year 2' has been stealing the limelight ever since its inception for all the right reasons! After dropping the trailer of the film, starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles five days back, the makers on Thursday treated the fans with the first track of the movie titled 'The Jawani Song' which was unveiled by the star-cast of the film sometime back in Mumbai. In the song Tiger, Tara, Ananya and Aditya Seal as part of their performance at a college competition recreated the magic of Kishore Kumar's hit classic 'Ye Jawani Hai Diwani' from the 1972 film 'Jawani Diwani' which was picturised on Randhir Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan. The reprised version has been composed by music director duo Vishal-Shekhar and choreographed by Remo D’Souza. While Kishore’s vocals have been retained from the original, Vishal Dadlani have also contributed additional lyrics to the song. Watch below: 'Student Of The Year 2' is the sequel to the 2012 hit film 'Student Of The Year' which marked the Bollywood debut of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra. Ananya, who is the daughter of Chunky Panday, will make her debut in this film, as will Tara. Jackie Shroff DROPS a hint that Tiger Shroff & Disha Patani are indeed DATING! While KJo had directed the first film, the second instalment has been directed by filmmaker Punit Malhotra of 'I Hate Luv Stories' fame. 'Student Of The Year 2', which has been majorly shot in Dehradun, will hit the theatres on May 10.
