Shah Rukh Khan Says Jawan Is The ‘First And Last Time’ That He Will Go Bald For A Movie

Talking about going bald in the film Shah Rukh said, “Abhi aap logo ke liye main ganja bhi ho gaya hun toh isi ki izzat ke liye chale jana. (Now I have gotten bald for you guys so please go to watch that).”
He also added that this is the first and the last time he has sported a bald look in a film. “The film has something for everybody in the film. We have it all that’s why I had to do 6 or 7 get-ups in the film. And I’m there bald also so that’s something I am never ever going to be in life. This is the first and last time,” he can be seen saying in the video doing the rounds on the internet.

SRK spoke about the Atlee directorial and said that the message of the film is women's empowerment. “We need to empower the biggest force in this world, which is women, so we have to empower them. So, this film is all about them but there’s lot of love, happiness, action, drama, emotion, all of it will be there,” he said at the trailer launch.
The actor also danced to the song 'Zinda Banda' at the trailer launch. The film will release on September 7 in -- Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, and will be the actor's first pan-India film. Talking about the same he said, "What we entertain you with should not have a language, should not have a religion, should not have a caste, colour, creed distinction. We should all come together to celebrate entertainment with our families, our loved ones and this is the first step in that direction.”

Nayanthara plays the cop in the film, while the main antagonist is played by Vijay Sethupathi. 'Jawan' also stars Sanya Malhotra, Priyamanai, Sunil Grover and Mukesh Chhabra in key roles. Deepika Padukone will be seen in a special appearance.
