'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' To Arrive In Theatres Next Week, Arjun Kapoor Shares Big Update About Film

'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' will release on March 19

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra managed to set the screens on fire with their sizzling chemistry in ‘Ishaqzaade’. The romantic action film had created ripples at the box office. The duo worked again in ‘Namastey England’, which failed to perform as per expectations and turned out to be a box office dud. Arjun and Parineeti are now gearing up for the release of ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’.

The upcoming film was slated to hit the silver screens in March 2020; however, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis. Last month, YRF announced that the black comedy would arrive in the cinema halls on March 19, 2021.

Arjun, who is playing the role of Pinkesh ‘Pinky’ Dahiya, took to social media to share an update about the film. He revealed that the new trailer of ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ would release on Tuesday (March 9).

“Two names, one journey. #SandeepAurPinkyFaraar, a special story by #DibakarBanerjee is coming to your nearest big screen on 19th March, 2021. Trailer #2 OUT TOMORROW," the caption for the post read.

The first trailer of ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ was unveiled on Match 4 on the official YouTube handle of Yash Raj Films. It has received over 6 million views till date.

The trailer gave a glimpse of Pinky and Sandeep, who are as different as chalk and cheese. While Pinky is a police officer, Sandeep Kaur (played by Parineeti Chopra) is from corporate sector.

‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ will clash with John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Mumbai Saga’ at the box office. The two films are releasing on March 19, 2021. It remains to be seen which flick manages to win the box office battle.

‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra and Jaideep Ahlawat in key roles. The film has been directed by Dibakar Banerjee, who has helmed ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’, ‘Shanghai’ and ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’.
