Sahil Khan Issues Statement After Manoj Patil Attempts Suicide: 'I Want To Speak About The Real Truth..'

Manoj Patil accused Bollywood actor Sahil Khan of defaming him on social media and creating troubles for him in his professional life.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sahil Khan issued a statement after bodybuilder and former Mr. India Manoj Patil attempted suicide, blaming the YouTuber and fitness entrepreneur in his letter. Patil had filed a complaint against Sahil at Oshiwara police station, accusing him of harassment and cyber-bullying.

Sahil, who worked in films like ‘Style’ and Xcuse Me’, will hold a press conference later in the evening to speak about the case. He said that he will bring his side of the story during the press conference. The actor further said that legal action must be taken against an individual, who is proved wrong in the case. 

Khan added that he will reveal the reason why his name was dragged in the controversy.

"I have been involved in the suicide attempt case of Mr. Manoj Patil and hence I want to bring forward my side of the story today. I want to speak about the real truth and the real reason why my name is bought into this controversy, along with proof. If after that anyone feels that my explanation and proof are not convincing enough, then let the legal system take its due course, but if any other individual is proved wrong then there should be legal action taken against him too," the statement read. 

Sahil Khan Promises To 'Expose Steroid Racket'

Sahil shared a post on Instagram story to share details about his press conference. He said that the steroid racket will be exposed when he makes revelations on Thursday (September 16) evening. 

"Doing press conference today evening. If you don't know now, you will know steroid racket will be exposed," his post read.

Manoj Patil’s Health Update 

A doctor from Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital, while talking to Indian Express, said that the bodybuilder has regained consciousness. He proved an update about Patil’s health after he tried to end his life.   

“He has regained consciousness and is in a stable condition. We have taken samples from his body to find out what he had consumed,” the doctor was quoted as saying by Indian Express. 

 Who Is Manoj Patil?

The bodybuilder and model won the Mr India Men's Physique Overall Championship. He enjoys a significant fan following on social media with over 400k followers on Instagram. In his suicide letter, which went viral on the internet, Manoj alleged that he wasn ending his life because of 'stigma and mental stress'.

He accused Sahil of harassing him to keep him away from participating in Mr. Olympia.
