Ranveer Singh Goes 'Je Baat' As Vicky Kaushal Tests Negative For COVID-19

Vicky Kaushal has tested negative for COVID-19

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal took to social media to inform his fans that he has tested negative for COVID-19. Earlier this month, the ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ star had contracted the virus. Kaushal shared a picture on Instagram wherein he can be seen flashing his smile. He thanked his fans for the wishes and messages and offered his prayers to others who are recovering from Coronavirus.  

“Tested negative today. Thank You for your lovely wishes and messages. My prayers for all who are recovering. Stay safe,” Vicky wrote on his Instagram story. 

Fans have flooded his latest post with their messages. While some expressed their happiness over his test results, others asked him about his quarantine period.  

Several Bollywood celebs including Ranveer Singh, Richa Chadha, Anil Kapoor, Dia Mirza dropped comments on the post. 

Richa commented, “Happy to hear bubblegum. Take care, stay healthy” while Ranveer wrote, “Jebaat.” 

Vicky immediately went into home quarantine after contracting the virus. He had requested the people, who came in contact with him, to undergo a COVID-19 test. 

The ‘Sanju’ star was shooting for Shashank Khaitan’s ‘Mr. Lele’ with Bhumi Pednekar when he tested positive for Coronavirus. Pednekar has also tested positive for the virus. The shoot for the upcoming film was put on halt after the leads were diagnosed with COVID-19. 

On the professional front, Vicky has several exciting projects in his kitty including ‘Sardar Udham Singh’, ‘Sam Bahadur’. He will be seen playing the role of India’s First Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in Meghna Gulzar’s film. 

Several tinsel town celebs including Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt have tested positive for Coronavirus in recent times. Alia shared a post on social media to announce that she has tested negative for the virus. Vicky’s rumoured girlfriend Katrina tested positive for COVID-19  a day after he shared the news with fans. 

Earlier in the day, Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan also confirmed that he has contracted the virus. The Maharashtra government has decided to ban the shoot of films, TV shows and ads till May 1, 7a, in the wake of increasing number of COVID-19 cases.
