Raksha Bandhan 2020: Amitabh Bachchan Shares Throwback Pictures Of Abhishek-Shweta And Agastya-Aaradhya On The Special Occasion

Raksha Bandhan 2020: The megastar got discharged from hospital yesterday after testing negative for COVID-19, while Abhishek Bachchan is still under treatment in the hospital.

Raksha Bandhan 2020: It is known to everyone that four members from the Bachchan Family tested positive for the novel coronavirus including Amitabh, Abhishek, Aishwarya and baby Aaradhya. While both Big B and Junior Bachchan were immediately admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai, Aishwarya and Aaradhya, on the other hand, were home quarantined. But soon after, the mother-daughter had to be admitted in the hospital as they started getting symptoms for the virus. A few days back, Aishwarya and Aaradhya tested negative and were discharged from the hospital. It was on Sunday when the ‘Breathe’ actor took to his Twitter to inform everyone that his father has also tested negative for the virus and has been discharged from the hospital. While fans and celebrities rejoiced with the happy news, they are also praying for the speedy recovery of Abhishek Bachchan. Now, on the special occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the ‘Shamitabh’ actor took to his Instagram and shared a collage picture of Abhishek-Shweta and Agastya-Aaradhya. He also penned down a note on the special bond of brothers and sisters. In the note he added about why the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan is being celebrated. His caption read, “.. and tomorrow be the festival of protection and security for the sister by the brother .. a pledge to be by her side, to hold her hand in times of trouble , to safeguard her from all evil that may erupt about and to let her know that no matter what he shall ever be by her side ..Raksha Bandhan : ‘raksha’ to protect ; ‘bandhan’ to tie to bond to hold together Our ‘samaaj’ does possess centuries old traditions that make us all valuable .. in the essence of behavioural convictions .. such convictions that can never be betrayed or dissolved .. they are the crafted genius of writings on stone .. forever ..”
