'Annaatthe' Release Date

Earlier this year, the makers announced that their movie will arrive in the cinema halls on November 4, coinciding with the festival of Diwali. The film was originally slated to release during Pongal; however, it got postponed after eight crew members tested positive for COVID-19 last year. The shooting was halted in December 2020 after the crew members were diagnosed with the virus.

Although Rajinikanth tested negative for Coronavirus, he was hospitalised on December 25 due to fluctuating blood pressure. The 'Darbaar' star was discharged from the hospital on December 27.
