Popular Singer ARRESTED on ASSAULT charges!

Singer Chris Brown has been arrested on felony assault charges. A spokesperson with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said Brown was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and formally charged with assault with a deadly weapon following an incident early in the day, reports variety.com. Chris Brown "Brown is going to be transported where he will be arrested for ADW - assault with a deadly weapon," Lieutenant Chris Ramirez of Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) told reporters. Police responded to a call at about 3 a.m. on Tuesday, in which a woman said Brown threatened her with a gun during an altercation. After a police report was filed, police officials obtained a search warrant for his Tarzana, California, property. Brown initially refused to leave his home for the police investigation, resulting in an hours-long standoff. His attorney, Mark Geragos, arrived at Brown's home shortly after the warrant was issued. That first broke the news of his arrest. As news broke on Tuesday, Brown posted a series of videos on Instagram declaring his innocence. He called the police "idiots" and went on to say, "I'm innocent f**k everybody I'm tired of hearing this s**k."
