Salman Khan Finally Starts Shoot For Shah Rukh Khan's Upcoming Film 'Pathan'

Salman Khan will be seen in a special appearance in SRK's action thriller 'Pathan'.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathan’ has been making waves ever since was revealed that the ‘King of Romance’ will feature in it. Movie buffs are eagerly waiting for the flick as SRK’s last film ‘Zero’ released in 2018. They are quite excited to see Shah Rukh and Salman in one frame after a long time. Earlier this month, Salman confirmed his extended cameo appearance in ‘Pathan’ while hosting ‘Bigg Boss 14’.

The ‘Bharat’ actor had revealed that he would start shooting for ‘Pathan’ after wrapping up the shoot of ‘Bigg Boss 2020’. According to a report in PTI, Salman has commenced shooting for the much-awaited flick at YRF Studios in Mumbai from Thursday (February 25).

The ‘Race 3’ actor joined King Khan at the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai for the shoot of the upcoming action thriller. He will be seen in a special appearance in ‘Pathan’. The makers have managed to keep the details about Salman’s cameo under wraps.

Salman will soon commence the shoot of ‘Tiger 3’ with Katrina Kaif. Trade sources suggest that the flick would go on floors from next month. The first two films of the ‘Tiger’ franchise managed to set the box office on fire.  

On the professional front, Salman will be next seen in ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. The film is slated to hit the silver screens on Eid 2021. The movie co-starring Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff will clash with John Abraham starrer ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ at the box office.

Talking about ‘Pathan’, the action thriller is being directed by Siddharth Anand, who helmed Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer ‘War’. ‘War’, which also featured Vaani Kapoor, emerged as the biggest hit of 2019.

Speculations were rife that ‘Pathan’ would release in 2021; however, the latest reports suggest that the flick will would entertain the audience next year. Trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on Twitter.

“Pathan - which marks #SRK’s return to the big screen after a hiatus - will release in 2022... Not 2021... #SRK collaborates with leading production house #YRF after a long gap,” Adarsh wrote on the micro-blogging site.

‘Pathan’ will also star Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. John, who is gearing up for the release of ‘Mumbai Saga’, will play the main antagonist in the highly anticipated film.
