MP Govt waives off tax on 'Hindi Medium' and 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams'

New Delhi: To ensure that the film reaches to a maximum number of people in the theatres, the Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to waive off the entertainment tax for Bollywood movies 'Hindi Medium' and Sachin Tendulkar's biopic 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams'. Sachin Tendulkar's biopic 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' has already been declared tax free in states like Maharashtra, Odisha, Kerala, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka. However, Irrfan Khan starrer " Hindi Medium" was declared tax-free in Maharashtra. The flick ' Sachin: A Billion Dreams' was declared tax free so as to honour the contribution of the 'Master Blaster' in the world of sports
