'Lost': Yami Gautam Announces First Film After Wedding With Aditya Dhar, To Commence Shoot Soon

Mumbai: Yami Gautam, who recently tied the knot with director Aditya Dhar, has announced her new film titled ‘Lost’. The newly married actress has promised to entertain the audience with a ‘thrilling and hard-hitting tale’, which will be directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.  

The investigative drama, which will be produced by Zee Studios, Kishor Arora, Sam Fernandes and others, aims to highlight the issue of media integrity. The interesting theme has managed to capture the attention of the movie buffs on social media.

Vikrant Massey Reacts To Yami Gautam's New Film Annoucement

Vikrant, who worked with Yami in 'Ginny Weds Sunny', dropped a comment on her post and said that he is proud of her. The 'Haseen Dillruba' star wrote, "I am so so so proud of you Yami G."

‘Lost’ Cast 

While Yami Gautam will play the main lead, the film will also feature Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee and Tushar Pandey. The cast and crew will commence the shoot soon.   

Late actor Vinod Khanna’s son Rahul Khanna will make his big screen comeback with ‘Lost’. He was last seen in Netflix’s web series ‘Leila’, which starred Huma Qureshi in a lead role. 

The makers have planned to film the sequences in real locations across Kolkata and Purulia. While Shantanu Moitra will compose the music, Swanand Kirkire will pen the lyrics. 

Yami Gautam's Upcoming Films

The 'Bala' actress will be next seen in 'Bhoot Police', which also stars Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. The horror comedy is slated to premiere directly on Disney+Hotstar VIP on September 17, 2021.

Yami also has 'A Thursday' and 'Dasvi' in her kitty. She will share screen-space with Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur in 'Dasvi'.
