Kriti Sanon On Staying Silent After Sushant Singh Rajput's Demise: 'Didn't Feel The Need To...'
Kriti Sanon, who worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in 'Raabta', opened up on her silence post his untimely demise.
The untimely demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput left his family, friends and fans teary-eyed. It’s hard to believe that a talented artist like Sushant is no more with us. The ‘Raabta’ star, who made a smooth transition from TV to cinema, passed away at the age of 34.
Kriti Sanon, while talking to a leading daily, opened up on why she chose to stay silent on her ‘Raabta’ co-star Sushant’s death. The ‘Housefull 4’ actress told Times Of India that she decided to stay away from speaking on the matter as ‘there was a lot of negativity.’
Sanon said that she didn’t feel the need to talk to people about what she was feeling post Sushant’s sudden demise. She revealed why she thought of restricting her thoughts to social media.
“You can write and express yourself instead of talking out loud,” the ‘Heropanti’ actress told Times Of India.

Kriti had shared a long post on social media to remember Sushant after his demise. She posted throwback photos with the ‘Chhichhore’ star along with a heartfelt caption.
Kriti and Sushant were linked with each other while they were busy shooting for ‘Raabta’. Although the two tinsel town stars never confirmed their relationship, gossip mills suggested a different story. She had shared a long post on her Instagram story to demand a CBI probe into Sushant’s death case in August 2020.
On the professional front, Kriti Sanon will be next seen in ‘Bachchan Pandey’. The film co-starring Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez is slated to hit the silver screens on January 26, 2022.
She also has ‘Bhediya’, ‘Adipurush’, 'Ganapat' and ‘Mimi’ in her kitty. The ‘Panipat’ actress is currently busy shooting for ‘Bhediya’ with her ‘Dilwale’ co-star Varun Dhawan. Kriti will be sharing screen-space with ‘Baahubali’ star Prabhas in Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’. The mythological flick also stars Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh.

Three Central agencies including the Central Bureau of Investigation, the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau are investigating Sushant’s death case. The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor was found dead at his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020.
