The talented actor has managed to win hearts with cute looks and comic timing in his films. The 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' star, who turned a year older on November 22, announced his new film on his 30th birthday. Kartik is teaming up with 'Neerja' director Ram Madhvani for the upcoming movie 'Dhamaka'. He posted two pictures on his Instagram and Twitter handle along with the caption, "Shuru karein #Dhamaka Lekar Prabhu ka naam. Checking in. See my already worried Mom." In one of the photos, Kartik can be seen posing in front of a temple in his house. In the second picture, he posed with his parents before heading out for work. Kartik Aaryan's FIRST Look In Dhamaka Kartik Aaryan will essay the role a journalist, who covers the live broadcast of a terror attack in 'Dhamaka'. The actor is quite excited to play something different from the run-of-the-mill characters. "This for me is a miracle script and had me on the edge of my seat all through the narration. I knew this is the script that would give me the opportunity to explore a different side of me as an actor," Kartik said in a statement. The first look of the actor was unveiled on his birthday.

Lead Actress Of Dhamaka

According to a report in Filmfare, Mrunal Thakur will play the female protagonist in 'Dhamaka'. She made her big screen debut with 'Love Sonia' and later went on to star in films like 'Super 30' and 'Batla House'. The makers are yet to make an official announcement.

On the professional front, Kartik several exciting projects in his kitty including 'Bhool Bhulaiyya' and 'Dostana 2'. He will be seen romancing Janhvi Kapoor in 'Dostana 2', which also stars Laksh Lalwani.
