New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira were blessed with a baby girl last year on 26th August. Becoming parents is a feeling of bliss! Shahid and Mira were on cloud 9 the day their lucky charm arrived in this world. Shahid and Mira both have evolved themselves as parents. Their beautiful daughter blew candles a few days back on completing her 12 awesome months.

Previously we showed you some pictures of Misha’s 12 months journey and now we have an amazing glance of her 1^st Birthday. Shahid and Mira’s choice of her birthday cake is super cute. The cake seems so beautiful and delicious that you would just want to stare at it. Misha’s expression while cutting the cake shows how this adorable kid has no idea what’s happening yet she wants to live in the moment. Such moments remains immortal in life.

We love that @mira.kapoor always pushes us to do healthier food & desserts than we imagined we could..using alternatives instead of sugar like dates, maple syrup, honey & fruits like avocado instead of cream..desserts for little Misha's first birthday party- Avocado Chocolate Mousse/ Eggless Date Carrot Walnut Cake/ Grilled Peaches & Mascarpone with Sesame Crumble/ Raspberry Coconut Panna Cotta! And on that note my doctor has just told me no more desserts & no more rice because of high levels on my gestational diabetes test aaargh!! Mira always wanted to celebrate her daughter’s first birthday with immense love and care. She said in an interview to TOI,“I really liked how we used to have birthdays when we were young. It was really small and intimate. Just very simple and that’s how both Shahid and I want to do it for Misha.” The menu of Misha’s birthday was specifically kept healthy since her parents are firm health freaks. It included avocado chocolate mousse, eggless date carrot walnut cake, grilled peaches, mascarpone with sesame crumble and raspberry coconut panna cotta!
