'He is more jealous, dangerous than David': Five things which Govinda said about Karan Johar

NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Govinda, who is all set to make a comeback with 'Aa Gaya Hero' is miffed with director Karan Johar for releasing 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' a week after his film. Govinda has high hopes for 'Aa Gaya Hero' which is slated to release on March 3. The actor is also upset with Karan for not inviting him to his show 'Koffee With Karan'. Here are five bitter remarks which Govinda made about Karan Johar: 1. On being asked whether he will be seen gracing Koffee With Karan's couch or not, Govinda replied in a satirical way: "He( Karan) must have said that it would be a matter of national respect for him if he calls Govinda, but he is releasing Varun's (Dhawan) film just a week after my film." Karan Johar shows that he's very humble and innocent, but woh mujhe David (Dhawan) se zyaada jealous and zyaada khatarnak lagta hai," said the 'Partner' actor Govinda. 3.Opening about groupism in Bollywood, he said, "Karan has never called me in 30 years, he doesn't see actors who are not the part of his group and doesn't even say a hello, I doubt. He's not that kind-hearted. It's a well-planned and smart move by Karan that he's releasing his film a week after mine. Mujhe woh kabhi seedha nahi lagta hai. " 4. Earlier in an interview to The Indian Express, Govinda expressed his displeasure with Karan for not inviting him to his show. “If you see, Karan Johar never called me for any of his interviews. He has called comedians, singers, actors, newcomers and everyone else. Throw parties in which Govinda should never be seen. Many such things have happened with me. So I wouldn’t want any newcomers to be Govinda," revealed Govinda. The actor was also unhappy over comparisons drawn between him and Varun Dhawan which he thinks is a 'fake one'.
