NEW DELHI: Anushka Sharma is one of the best actresses industry has today. She surely has come a long way from her modelling days. But do you know who was the first person to give her break in modelling? It is none other than renowned designer Wendell Rodricks. The 56-year-old-designer recently bumped into the 'Phillauri' star at the Mumbai airport and took to Instagram to share a picture where the duo can be seen smiling for the camera. He captioned the snap, "Guess who I found at Bombay airport right now, seven years after spotting her in Bangalore and bringing her to Bombay? @anushkasharma @anushkaslays.

Reportedly, the ace designer spotted the actress at a denims shop in Bangalore and had convinced her to take up modelling and be a part of his fashion show. The ' NH10' star started her modeling career at the Lakme Fashion Week as a model for Wendell Rodricks's Les Vamps Show. On the professional front, Anushka will be next seen in Imtiaz Ali's upcoming movie, opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
