Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 12: Sunny Deol And Ameesha Patel Starrer Enters Rs 400 Crore Club

'Gadar 2', which hit the theatres on August 11, has finally surpassed the Rs 400 crore mark.

The movie has surpassed 'Dangal', starring Aamir Khan, with a lifetime total of Rs 377 crore.

New Delhi: 'Gadar 2' has received accolades on social media and has performed incredibly well at the domestic box office since its release. According to Sacnilk.com, the sequel has finally surpassed the Rs 400 crore mark. The film hit the theatres on August 11.

According to early estimates, 'Gadar 2' earned Rs 11.50 crore nett in India on its 12th day, reports Sacnilk.com. The movie brought in a total of Rs 284.63 crore in its first week. The movie hauled in Rs 20.5 crore on its second Friday, Rs 31.07 crore on its second Saturday, Rs 38.9 crore on its second Sunday, and Rs 13.50 crore on its second Monday. 

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas recently sent the director of 'Gadar 2' a bouquet in celebration of the success of his movie. The couple also included a handwritten note for Anil Sharma.

Priyanka and Nick's note read, "Dear Anil Sir, Congratulations on the super success of Gadar 2! Lots of wishes for the future endeavors! Much love, Priyanka and Nick."

The movie has surpassed 'Dangal', starring Aamir Khan, with a lifetime total of Rs 377 crore to rank fourth among Hindi films.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to X to update about the box office numbers of the film. Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol play the lead roles in the movie. 'Gadar 2' is the sequel to 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', in which Sunny played truck driver Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel played Sakeena. In 'Gadar 2', Tara Singh is seen crossing the border in a daring mission to rescue his son, Utkarsh Sharma, who is being held captive in Pakistan.
