Ajeeb Daastaans: Fatima Sana Shaikh Opens Up On Overwhelming Response For Her Performance, Says 'I Have Been Getting..'
'Dangal' girl Fatima Sana Shaikh has received a good response from the audience for her performance in Ajeeb Daastaans.
Fatima Sana Shaikh, who made her big Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dangal’, has managed to win the hearts of the audience with her power-packed performances. The talented actress has received critical acclaim for playing the role of Lipakshi with perfection in Netflix’s ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’. The Hindi anthology film has been appreciated for its storytelling and impeccable performances of the leads.
Fatima, while talking to ABP News, opened up on the response to her performance in ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’. The ‘Ludo’ actress expressed her gratitude towards the audience and said that she is on cloud nine after hearing the praises from all the corners.
Fatima further said that working with a talented ensemble cast has turned out to be an enriching learning experience for her.
"Can't even express how grateful I am for the response I'm getting for Ajeeb Daastaans. It was out and out a new role, which I tried for the first time and I'm over the moon with the love it has received from the audiences. Working with such an ensemble cast of artists is an enriching learning experience, which Ajeeb Daastaans provided me," she said.
The ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ actress said that she received phone calls from the industry people after they watched her film. Audience’s love play a big role in making someone a star and Fatima is glad that they have notice of her performance.
"I've been getting phone calls from a lot of people, even from the industry, and I am really grateful that my work is being appreciated... Till now, every role that I have performed is very different from the other, but getting into the skin of this character has provided a great learning curve for me, and I'm glad that the audience is taking a notice of that," she said.
On the professional front, Fatima will be next seen in a yet-to-be titled film with Anil Kapoor. She also has the remake of Tamil film 'Aruvi' in her kitty.
