New Delhi: After Kangana Ranaut’s jibe at him, Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has posted a note on Instagram about his state Punjab. The post comes after Kangana shared a tweet from the food delivery app Swiggy on Twitter and Instagram stories and tagged Diljit on it. The original tweet had pictures of pulses with the caption ‘pulse aa gayi’. She tagged Diljit in her tweet and wrote ‘just saying’. She added a Khalistan sticker on Instagram Stories, with the word crossed out. She added, “Diljit Dosanjh ji pols aagai pols (‘police aa gayi’ in Punjabi twang).”

In another post she wrote, “All those who supported Khalistanis remember next number tumhara hai, pols aa chuki hai, yeh woh waqt nahi hai jab koi bhi kuch bhi karta tha, desh ke saath gaddari ya tukde karne ki koshish ab mehengi padegi (Remember next up in you. The police is here. One cannot do whatever they wish to anymore. Betraying the country or wanting to destroy it will cost you big time).”

Her posts came after Punjab Police’s crackdown on Khalistani sympathiser Amritpal Singh and his aides.

Kangana and Diljit’s Twitter war in 2020 started after in a tweet, the actress shared wrong information about an old woman at the farmers’ protest. She wrongly identified her as Bilkis, who was the face of the Shaheen Bagh protest. Diljit then shared a video of the elderly Sikh woman to clear Kangana's doubt.

In response, Kangana called him ‘Karan Johar ke paltu’, and the Twitter war continued for days.

On the work front, Diljit Dosanjh and veteran singer Gurdas Maan have created a reimagined version of the iconic track 'Challa'.

He has also recently wrapped up Imtiaz Ali’s 'Chamkila' with Parineeti Chopra. Notifying his followers about the film's wrap-up, Diljit recently put up a post lauding the film's director Imtiaz Ali, Parineeti, along with the film's team on his Instagram.

Sharing a picture of himself with Imtiaz, Diljit wrote in the caption, "@imtiazaliofficial Sir Baut Pyar Ji... Baut Kuch Sikheya Tuadey Kolon (lots of love, have learnt a lot from you).

Bhul Chuk Lai Maafi (Loved working with Parineeti, thank you to the entire crew. All of us have worked equally hard, please forgive us for any of our mistakes that we might have committed unwillingly)".
