Madhuri Dixit-Aamir Khan's 1994 hit 'Dil' to have a sequel titled 'Dil Again'; Indra Kumar CONFIRMS!

Aamir Khan-Madhuri Dixit's song 'khambe jaisi khadi hai' featured in their film 'Dil' 25 years ago, is still a favorite of many among other tracks from the film and now this fresh piece of news will get fans more excited as the film is set to have a sequel. Film's director Indra Kumar who's busy promoting his multi-starrer 'Total Dhamaal', just confirmed this during one of the promotional events along with revealing the title of the sequel which is 'Dil Again'. He also answered the next big question whether Madhuri-Aamir will reprise their roles of Madhu and Raja in it! Indra revealed- “I had been planning to make the sequel to Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit-starrer Dil for some time now. We have cracked a script and called it Dil Again.” When asked if the hit duo will feature in film's sequel too, he said- “No, I’m making this one with two young actors. We haven’t started casting yet.” There were also some reports early last year that Indra Kumar had confiremd a remake of 'Dil' and Varun Dhawan's name was speculated for stepping into the shoes of Aamir for it. Now that the sequel in confirmed by the director, we can't keep calm and are too eager to know who finally plays the new lead in it. When does 'Dil  Again' go on floors? The filmmaker shares that he has not been able to put a date to the film yet. “I have been caught up with the post-production of Total Dhamaal so once this is over, I will decide what my next project would be. But I hope to make Dil Again sometime soon.” -Added Indra. Whoever is cast in the lead roles but we really hope that Madhuri-Aamir are roped in to play cameo in it.
